    There are 23 houses (on app. 162 or 120 sq m plots, with the corner plots being bigger) of Housing board surrounding the near the trapezoidal-shaped park. The road that comes from Sec-11 crossing (Krishna Electrical) has at present (2007)Eucalyptus trees on the left and a huge banyan and a huge peepal tree on the right. The park is at right immediately after these trees. Shivaji Puram is at left. The park has a transformer. At the back side of the houses on the eastern side of park, is a road which leads to Sai Temple. These 23 houses are numbered from 11/298/1 to 11/298/23. The house no. 11/298 is quite far away from these 23 houses. The houses in the Southern wing have a big plot at the back marked for medical centre. The house no. 11/298/12 is owned and occupied by Dr. Chandra Mohan Nautiyal and family. He is a scientist (not a doctor) at Birbal Sahi Instt. Palaeobotany and is also a science communicator. The village at the back of Northern row is known as pandit Purwa. At the back of the Western houses is a big private colony Shivaji Puram. Behind the houses on the Eastern side of the park, is a large number of Housing board house.

    Why only the 60s? I know no words to describe what a fabulous place it was in the 50s. I was there during 1957-59 when I went to classes XI-XII.
